Micro-Habitats

Whilst habitats (such as deserts, woodlands and oceans) are often described as quite large areas that are the home to plants and animals some habitats are much smaller and quite spcific in their location. These are referred to as micro-habitats and include places such as a pond, under a rock or hedgerow or individual trees.
